Dearest Friends,
I, Dana Murphy, am reaching out from New York with this gofundme page because my family has been devastated in the Louisiana flood. Like many others, they have no flood insurance.
The waters rose and took with them everything that my family had. My father-in-law and step-mother-in-law have lost everything. Cars, personal belongings, memories, their home. These people have given their lives to helping others with their work and now it is time to help them.
Please please please give what you can to help these wonderful people in the long process of rebuilding their lives. No amount is too little.

The money donated will go towards costs needed in the rebuilding of their lives from the debris that the waters left behind (cleaning supplies, demolition, contruction materials, labor etc).
