Murphy Surgery and Vet Care

Murphy is our yellow lab. He ran away from home and it resulted in some pretty extensive injuries to his back leg. Murphy is one of a kind. He is my emotional support dog and best friend! I have had Murphy since he was born. I had his mom and she accidentally had 8 lab puppies. Murphy was born first in my daughter’s closet. She put him in a slipper from the closet. I fell in love with him from day one, so of course I had to keep him. He has turned out to be the best dog! Not only is he my 4-legged kid, but Murphy has helped me in ways I never thought a dog could help! Murphy came into my life when I needed him. From divorce, heartbreak, and losing everything, Murphy has been by my side always. Not only that, but my 12-year-old Charley is also his bestie. She would be devastated!

Murphy ran away from home today. He saw a rabbit and had to chase it!

I work as a labor and delivery tech at a hospital and had to work a 12-hour shift. I had to leave him running the town of Fremont, NE. I can’t miss work, so I had to go without him being home. I had friends, family, and people I didn’t even know looking all over for him for us. He was the hot topic of the internet today. ❤️

By the time I got home to find him, he had been hit by a car. His leg suffered some extreme trauma and now needs surgery.

I am a single mom working 3 jobs to be able to make it.

I know life is hard for us all, but I am hoping to get some help for him. I just don’t have it all and I can’t stand to think about losing him.
