Hi my name is Hillary and I am trying to raise some funds for my grandaughter Murphy and Leigha who were both burned in a horrific accident with full mental pot of tea which was spilled over them by accident ..Leigha has bad burn on her foot but Murphy has severe burns over her tummy /private area and both inner thighs as well as on her feet …she is in Queen Elizabeth children’s hospital …she is been looked after so well by her nurse and doctor team but has had to be in theatre being knocked out just to change her bandages…this is going to be a long recover and hard for mum and dad covering every night making sure one parent is there . The community local have been amazing and they needed to have a new type shower put in and was kindly offered to do this free by local person…but staying at the hospital and transport etc is expensive as well as missing work to make sure the baby and Leigha are all well looked after ,there will have to be adjustments in there house and making sure the girls bedroom has all the medical needs all at hand for them coming home …So with that said and from a grandmother who can’t stop seeing the accident in slow motion could I ask as many of the lovely friends family and our community to help get them some money to make there job easier looking after Murphy …who will come home not walking yet and needs to be looked after with district nurses etc as well as mum and dad having crash courses in looking after burns. And trying to not miss work which is very hard to look after family if you don’t have any pay or sick pay .
