My name is Rebecca Rothstein and I am fundraising for my dear friend, Muriel Norman. Muriel had open heart surgery in November 2023 and has experienced serious complications related to the surgery. She is scheduled for another surgery in late March to pull down her diaphragm, which is compressing her left lung and making it very difficult for her to breathe. If you know Muriel, you know that she is self-employed as an Faux Finish Artist and her work is very physically demanding. She has be unable to work for the past 3 months and her thoracic surgeon has said that she cannot do any strenuous work for another 2-3 months post her upcoming surgery. Muriel's savings are dwindling and she needs help to pay for her daily living expenses while she is recuperating. Being a proud Auzzie and Brit she is not likely to ask anyone for help and so I am doing it for her.
