Four members of the Murdock team are set to take on an extraordinary endurance challenge, each running a staggering 110 kilometres over 24 hours to raise vital funds for three remarkable charities.
The challenge, titled ‘Murdock 110KM’, will begin at 11:30am on Thursday 11th June and run through to 11:30am on Friday 12th June, with participants running 10km routes from all Murdock branches across Northern Ireland.
This ambitious initiative will support three charities close to the hearts of those involved: Daisy Lodge (Cancer Fund for Children), Down Syndrome Association NI, and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The runners, Connor Gough, Drew Fowler, Stephen Patterson, and Kevin Murdock, are pushing both physical and mental limits to raise awareness and much-needed funding for causes that have had a profound personal impact on their lives.
The event will be supported by colleagues across the business, with teams coordinating logistics, safety, and continuous support throughout the 24-hour period.
Martin Farrell, Managing Director of Murdock Builders Merchants, said:
“This challenge reflects the determination and community spirit that runs through our business. We’re incredibly proud of the team taking part and the meaningful causes they’re supporting.”
Supporters are encouraged to follow the journey across Murdock’s social media channels, where live updates, progress tracking, and behind-the-scenes content will be shared throughout the challenge.
Any donation is hugely appreciated, thank you!
