Mural Restoration

It is EXTREMELY SAD and a complete let down that our mural was vandalized. We worked so hard in collaboration on a mural that is very important to us and the community we created it for and with and this happened. Public art is part of a social movement that brings people together and opens dialogue. This is why we make art. 

I want to stress that this tag tag was not done by a graffiti artist. Graffiti artists are a group of talented individuals who have my total respect. This is vandalism obviously done by a child, toy, or person with no understanding of art. 

We now have to eat the cost of additional paint, and the many labor hours to fix it. It’s a shame that some people have no respect.
