Mural for Eric Fly

As you all know, many of us have been dialoguing about immortalizing Eric "Fly" López in a way that people would recognize him and we would continue to honor him. Eric "Fly" was a member of our local music scene in which he not only played in bands and attended shows, but made a difference in inspiring a lot of individuals in our scene.  Eric "Fly" is a legend and a group of us are hoping to ensure that his legacy will never be forgotten.

The group has secured a location to have a mural done of Eric "Fly" López in downtown McAllen. The location of the mural would be on Chicago Ave and Bicentennial in McAllen.  The artist, Alex Andro, is well known in the Valley. You can find his work here: https://www.instagram.com/popc_ulture/

In order to realize this mural, we do need funds for supplies and to pay the artist.
For the completion of the mural, we do need at least $1200.  The sooner we raise the funds, the sooner the artist is able to start and complete the mural.  Any donation, small or big, will be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions you can ask the individuals that are working together on this project: you can ask me, Becky Guzman, Bobby Guevara, Eddie Guzmán, Fabian Gomez, Ronnie Garza, Charlie Vela, or Esther.
