MURAD ALI - Sadaqah Collection

As-salamu alaykum, we have created this donation pool to collect Sadaqah Jariyah for our father, MURAD ALI.

Muhammad,(P.B.U.H) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Muslim).

Our father was taken by aggressive bladder cancer within 1 week of his final diagnosis at 5:50pm on the 14th of September 2024. His Janazah was held at East London Mosque on the 16th September and was buried at the Gardens of peace, Chigwell. He was only 46 years old.

We (Subhan, 16. Omar, 15 & Ryan 11) had the most amazing, diligent and respectful father, and there’s even more words that I cannot even begin to describe. Even though he struggled with his health at times, he never failed to be there for us and take us wherever we wanted to go, an play games with us, watch films with us, take us on days out ect. He was the coolest dad who had the most amazing stories. All 3 of us share such fun memories with our dad, that we hope we never forget and tell our kids about one day. We hope to grow up to be atleast half the man he was. And most importantly, we would like to eternally thank our dad for always being there for us and teaching us what true love is.

During our father’s last days, he had discussed different forms of charity that can be donated. He always taught us about Islam and we hope to make him proud by raising this Sadaqah. With any Sadaqah received, we will donate 100% of this to the needy. Depending on how much is raised but our main goal is to build a water well in our dad’s name! With 1.6k we can build atleast 2 water wells in Bangladesh in a poverty stricken area. But the more we make, the more we can give back InshaAllah.

Please help us with our goal and InshaAllah we can make our dad proud. Not only now, but forever.
