To our alumni, artists, friends and supporters of the arts near and far - thank you.

More than 290 donors helped Kootenay School of the Arts Society reach its original $100,000 goal and came together at a pivotal moment for KSA.

Artists, alumni, students, neighbours, business owners and friends of the arts demonstrated that KSA is part of the fabric of this community, and that as this part of Nelson continues to be revitalized, arts education, working artists and creative spaces have an important place in its future.

Now we're stretching our goal to $150,000.

The next $50,000 will help strengthen KSAS's first year, supporting faculty and instruction, student learning and studio experiences, workshops and programming, equipment and materials, and the core costs of delivering high-quality arts education.

You are also the Founding Friends of KSAS.

The more than 290 people who supported this campaign helped make KSA's next chapter possible. Together, you are the beginning of a community we hope will grow for years to come - supporting KSA, its students and the future of arts education right here in Nelson.
