Munoz Family

As most of you know, my brother n law Manny was recently diagnosed and completed radiation and chemo for stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC); also commonly known as throat cancer. This was not only a huge shock to all his friends and family, but devastating to my sister, as well as my nieces and nephews! To see Manny go thru this horrific stage in life - the pain, the denial, the clearly visible weight loss, as well as no longer being in the element known to him as a hard working man - was clearly an eye opener for our entire family. During all of this, they have successfully been trying to keep their household afloat and ensure they remain financially stable. It has definitely been an emotional roller coaster for the Munoz family, as well to all that are close to them. First of all, thank you all for the support of text messages, cards, visits and most importantly the abundance of heartfelt prayers!

I'm sure if you're reading this, you personally know the Munoz's clan and you can agree when I say they have helped in one way or another. If you've ever visited the Munoz home you were probably catered to by my sister Dora, by a favorite meal, dessert or simply just a refreshing drink! In all reality their home never lacked great hospitality!!!

My effort here is to relieve even just a fraction of the stress by gathering some financial help from our family and friends. The most common response from everyone is, "if you need anything please let me know"; my thoughts are this would be a perfect time to show how we are there for my sister and brother in law! Any little bit helps, thanking you in advance!
