Munch's Emergency Vet Fundraiser

Another Update:
Yesterday we took Munch to his primary vet. He had some more x-rays taken and fluids given. Today I received a call that it is possible that he still has a partial obstruction. We opted not to do exploratory surgery as we just don’t have the funds for such. He has been eating tuna and seems to be doing really well. His medications have been reduced from 6 prescriptions to 3. A nausea medication, an appetite stimulant and some pain meds when needed. I see a drastic improvement in him and am very hopeful for a full recovery. He wants to be wherever the kids are and when they’re outside, he waits patiently at the door until they come back in.
Thank you so much again to everyone who has helped us. We appreciate you all!

UPDATE: Munchie is home! After a lot of ups and downs (mostly downs) in the information I was receiving about Munch, I decided it would be best to bring him home and seek additional treatment from our family vet. First they thought he had a bowel obstruction, then they told me it was possible lymphoma and now they say he most likely had a bowel obstruction that he has passed and the area where the obstruction occurred is inflamed. He’s been sent home with special food and 6 different medications. He is still not interested in eating but he’s sooo happy to be home with his furless siblings (and maybe kitten just a little). Tomorrow morning we will follow up with his primary vet and hope they can offer some clearer information.
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far. We are so incredibly grateful for you all!
Hi everyone. We’re looking for help with our sweet fur baby, Munch. For the past few days he’s been extremely lethargic and sick. Within the past day he has refused all food and water. Today he was rushed to BluePearl emergency pet hospital. After hours of waiting, bloodwork and some X-rays, the vets have advised he stay overnight. The xray showed a possible bowel obstruction. He is currently on IV fluids and will be receiving an ultrasound in the morning that will hopefully offer some answers.
If you know us, you know how much we all love our Munchie. He is so amazing with our kids and is Roman’s best friend. I hate asking for help, but we could really use it. Anything would help ease the burden, even if that’s just in the form of prayers, thoughts, and healing vibes.
