January 27, 2022 was the day that changed the lives of the Rupeck family from Shirley, NY. A fire in the oil burner partially destroyed a part of the house but the bursting of the water pipes had the house destroyed and most belongings were no longer salvageable. Any hope of fixing up this house was taken when deemed condemned. Lives suddenly have to be totally rebuilt.

This was the Rupeck home from 1968 and in recent years when their parents, Barbara and John, passed their sons, George and David continued to live there along with George’s children, one who is disabled since birth and requires constant care. Some of the kids are staying with other family while George with his other son and brother are all staying in a hotel room to collectively take care of Georgie.

These are people who have always shared and given to others with whatever little or much they have had. We are asking for help in getting them started with rebuilding their lives and settling in somewhere.
