Hi, this is Heeji.

Our beloved Mumma Moon (also known through her YouTube channel 호주 아따마맘), known for her bubbly personality and unstoppable energy, has recently been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma — an aggressive form of cancer. At this stage, doctors are still determining whether the primary cancer is pancreatic or bowel in origin. What we do know is that it is advanced and cannot be surgically removed because it is encasing major blood vessels in her abdomen.

Mum will soon undergo a stent procedure to relieve blockages and stabilise her liver levels so that she can begin chemotherapy as soon as possible.

We are currently consulting with multiple specialists and seeking second opinions to ensure we explore every possible treatment option. We are also considering travelling to Korea for more advanced therapies, including Carbon Ion Therapy, in hopes of giving Mum the best possible chance and quality of life.

While this diagnosis has been devastating, we are not giving up. Mum is a fighter, and as a family we are determined to do everything we can to prolong her life and make every moment meaningful and comfortable.

The emotional toll has been immense, and the financial burden of medical treatments, procedures, travel, and time away from work is growing quickly. We understand that times are difficult for many, but any contribution — no matter how small — would mean the world to our family. Even sharing this page would help us tremendously.
