This go fund me is for the strongest woman I've ever met.
I can't say that the last couple of years have been easy and especially for my mumma.
Nothing hurts more than seeing your loved ones hurt, struggle and be is so much pain.
I'm doing this to show my mother how much people care, how much people will go out there way just to make someone smile.
Starting it all off was stage 3 breast cancer in 2012, watching her go through chemo, radiation and still going to work to support us kids.
In between all that there were countless doctors appointments and hospital trips.
In 2014 Mum was diagnosed with melanoma where she underwent 4 operations in order to reduce the melanoma which they deemed as unsuccessful until she was offered and accepted to undergo a new trial treatment for melanoma patients which has worked in her favour and been the answer to our prayers but it has come with a cost and many side effects which was an increase in other health problems.
One of the issues is that it has eaten away the cartiledge between her bones in her hip, fast forwarding osteoporosis and causing major issues and pain in her hip, as a result from this my mum unfortunately had a fall last week and sustained a broken hip which has left her bed bound, back in hospital and ridiculous amounts of pain, we are still waiting on tests to tell us what is her next move from here.
Through all these battles and fights that she has to face every day, I couldn't be more proud of her and the strength she has to keep fighting without so much as a complaint.
The reason I'm doing this is to raise money so that my mother can enjoy life, take some of those wishes on her bucket list and make them a reality and most of all feel like herself again because nothing would mean more to us then to see her smile.
