Mumen, Aya and Zaina lose everything in Gaza

My name is DJ Deutch, and I spent years living in Palestine and working for the UN. I now live in Fayetteville, Arkansas but am still in contact with my friends still in Palestine.

A friend of mine from Gaza City, Mumen Shariq, lost everything in the bombing and wholesale destruction of Gaza City. Doing the only thing he could do, him, his wife, and their child just escaped into Egypt to avoid wholesale famine.

They are currently reduced to begging for money for food, rent, and the bare essentials. They are hoping to remain in Egypt until they are able to return home in Gaza.
