Mumbai Dogs and Puppies

Hi, I’m Nikki, Virgin Cabin Crew and along with some of my colleagues go and visit and feed the stray dogs across from our hotel in Mumbai.

It really is heartbreaking to see so many of them living in such terrible conditions, fighting to survive.

On my last visit there were 9 tiny puppies, the poor mother starving herself and they live underneath an underpass between two extremely busy main roads.

They are now being fed regularly, funded by a kind lady Nazmeen who runs A.R.A.S Animal Rescue and Shelter but I would love to raise the funds to help her and her team get as many dogs neutered as possible to stop the cycle. Any donation no matter how small would be a huge help. 

* UPDATE*

Nazmeen has now removed the puppies from that location as they were not safe and one was injured. She has bought them to her home where she currently cares for 170 dogs, 60 cats, 1 goat and 2 pigs!! One lucky boy has been adopted.  

She has started the neutering programme there but already there is a new batch of tiny puppies. 

Any financial help no matter how small will help her be able to carry on with this and feed the animals she has.
