Harper is 12 years old and in the 6th grade.  In July 2020 she was diagnosed with medullablastoma. After an 11 hour surgery they were able to remove the entire tumor. She then went thru 9 cycles of chemo and 30 rounds of radiation spread out across 12 months. She finished in Sept 2021 and had clear scans until April 2022. The MRI showed several new tumors in a different spot in her brain. She had just gone back to school and is thriving. She is back to playing soccer  after being off for almost 2 years and then this devastating news.
She will be doing a clinical trial in NYC(which we all know is a very expensive city) Both Justin and Shellie have taken a leave from work. Shellie is an Ann Arbor Police officer and with the help of our Community as well as the Ann Arbor Police Benevolent Association there are several fundraisers in place to give the family support so they can focus on Harper's care.  The gofundme has also been started to help with any expenses they will have during the course of the 15month treatment.
