December 2024:
Tina had a faecal test done, and it came back abnormal.

Right on top of Christmas, Tina needed extra tests done, but unfortunately, she found out that she had a tumour in the colon.

January 2025:
she had surgery done in Margate Hospital, and the tumour was removed from the colon and it was sent for some tests.

Once Tina recovered from the surgery, she was sent home from the hospital with stiches.

After a few days, the stitches started to weep with puss and bodily fluid. She was immediately rushed back to the hospital for medical attention. They resealed the stitches, and after recovering, she got sent home.

A few days later, she was feeling really unwell, so we decided to call 999 for an ambulance for Tina. She was rushed to hospital, but suffered with cardiac arrest in the ambulance while they were in route to the hospital. Thankfully, they managed to resuscitate her.

When she arrived at the hospital she was rushed to surgery as it turned out that she had sepsis so, therefore, went into septic shock.

Results showed her colon had ruptured. (I do remember being told that she will not make it through surgery)
Thankfully, she was strong and made it through surgery.

Sadly, she became really weak and remained in intensive care for 5 months and became bed-bound.

July 2025
We had good news from the hospital saying she was well enough to come home. However after being in hospital for 6 months Tina was really weak and frail. She was unable to have chemotherapy because she was so weak from the surgery.

Tina was told by the doctors she will never walk again. She was very upset after hearing this sad news. She was bedridden and needed support from family and carers.

As the weeks went by, Tina started getting abdominal pain her stomach. Her pain was managed by having a syringe Driver. (The cause of the pain was unknown by the professionals)

Weeks going by Tina's health was rapidly declining. Tina struggled to eat and drink. This was due to her being really weak.

02/10/25
Tina (mum) held my hand and explain to me how much she loves me and my siblings on that day saying while having a smile on her face. Unfortunately on *03/10/25* Tina had passed away in her sleep around 10am

Mum and I were really close. Every day, the pain is hurting me more and more because I know I won’t be able to see my one and only best friend (MUM) ever again

I got to the stage where I just want to be with her all of the time. Mum, where ever you are. Just know I really love you and without you i feel so lost and alone.

The funeral will take place *30th of October 2025* to say our last goodbye. The donations will go towards her funeral and her. Thank you for taking the time to read this❤️
