Asalam alaykum my name is Omar and I am fundraising to build a masjid (mosque) in my mum and dads name. I lost both my parents recently and would like this masjid to be sadiqah jariyya (ongoing charity) for them insha allah. The prophet (pbuh) said whoever builds a masjid Allah (swt) will build a house for him in paradise. My parents were my everything, they were full of life, and they used to make sure others were happy and content in life. To build a masjid in their names would be a great form of reward for them and for you donating towards a good cause.
