Multitap Gaming Hub is a new gaming cafe in Loughton, Essex that sadly had to close its doors exactly three weeks after opening due to the Covid 19 outbreak. We understand that there are more pressing causes to donate too, but if you feel that you have anything extra to spare then please help us survive this unfortunate situation.
If you decide to help us by donating then we will use that money to pay bills that we now simply can't afford at such a tough stage of our existence! We hope in turn we can return the investment by being an amazing member of the local community and providing a great place for everyone to visit!
Opening Multitap has been my dream for several years and my dream finally came true this year when we managed to open our doors to everyone! I love games of all kinds, playing, watching and discussing them and I wanted to provide somewhere where people could come and do that together. The dream soon faded when everyone's health became at risk, and then all our priorities have quite rightly changed.
We had a successful opening two weeks, providing lots of gamers with high spec equipment to enjoy their favourite games on together in a fun, safe and social environment.
We have big plans for when/if we reopen! We have a VR enclosure ready to use with the latest equipment and the best games to play such as Half Life: Alyx - a true VR groundbreaker, and more decorations thanks to a local graffiti artist giving the Hub even more of a futuristic street vibe!
We'll launch our first games club - Pokemon @ Multitap, where you can raid and trade with other players! And we'll start our weekly tournaments, beginning with a Mario Kart 8 competition with great prizes to win!
We are in the process of organising coding and animation lessons that are fun and educational for 7 yr olds and up.
Finally we hope to provide you with a greater food and drinks menu! Exactly what that will be is being kept a secret for now, but we're sure you'll be impressed!
