I am again returning to my early morning, late night and weekend long training sessions in preparation for the 26.2 miles of the 2025 Edinburgh Marathon in aid of the MS Trust.

The MS Trust is a UK charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and nerves caused by the immune system attacking them. The damage caused by this is varied and extensive. There is no known cure.

Having had firsthand experience of the support that they offer, I know that the MS Trust do many, many valuable things to help those affected and their families - from making sense of a diagnosis, to funding specialist nurses, providing guidance on treatments and medicines, supporting with the advanced stages of the disease and providing training for health professionals.

I would hugely appreciate any donations that you can offer - every penny truly counts. I am hoping to raise £411 to provide an MS Specialist Nurse with publications and literature to share with and support their patients for one year. Last year we did so well that we were able to wholly provide funding for the MS Helpline for an entire week.
