Car lift to get Logan easily to dr & therapy
Donation protected
For those of you who know Logan, you know he has overcome so much in his 16 years. Born weighing just under 14 ounces, no one thought he would live. If he did, he would have no quality of life. Well, he has proved them all wrong. He is smart, funny, charming, friendly and oh so lovable.
Despite all of his challenges, he continues to be amazing. In October 0f 2020, after a year of steady decline, he lost the ability to walk. Dr's were stumped. Finally we found our answer: a tethered spinal cord. He had spinal surgery, but has yet to regain the ability to walk, or bare full weight on his legs .... yet. We are hopeful that he will walk again, Dr's say it may take up to a year.
Getting him in my car is a challenge. He is 85 pounds now and can't help. If Jeremy is able, he does all the lifting, but that is not always possible.
This multi lift will hopefully help to be able to get him in my car safely and easily. Because we believe it will be short term , this is a much more economical solution than a handicap van.
This lift can also be used with adding accessories to aid in lifting him into the shower, or the pool.
Any money raised will go toward this lift and it's accessories to help Logan regain his independence while still recovering.
We know he has a huge fan base , and appreciate anything you can give, or even just sharing if you are unable to give.
Thank you in advance for your help!
