Hi Everyone, I know that Kameryn and I have not been able to give everyone an update as much as we have wanted but there has been a lot going on. Kameryn and I recieved news earlier this week after Reagan’s brain had developed enough to show us the full extent of Reagan’s brain bleed from lack of oxygen during the episode she had the first night the girls were born. Reagan lost more than 50% of her brain matter. We spoke with many different doctors including a Neurologist, Life Developmentalist, and the Medical Director for the NICU here at the hospital and all the conversations went the same. Reagan would have zero quality of life. After looking at the MRI ourselves, factoring in her short bowel syndrome, Kameryn and I knew we had a decision to make. On April 4th at 3:51 pm our sweet Reagan became an angel. She was extremely comfortable and passed away in my arms surrounded by her Mother, sisters, and Grandparents. Kameryn and I are doing as well as can be. I want to thank everyone who prayed so hard for Reagan while she was here with us. We were blessed to have her here as long as we did. I know everyone will have questions but I just do not have answers right now. We know that people are going to want to help in some way and this is just an option for everyone due to what is going on in our world right now.
