Tragedy has struck one of our own. As many of you know, our good friend Susan Mullen lost her son, Christopher, tragically on August 12th. On Saturday morning, Susan Mullen got a call from the Charleston Police Information Officer stating that her only son, Christopher Mullen had passed away. Mullen had recently moved to Charleston from Bluffton. Christopher was Susan’s only child and he leaves behind a one-year old son.
Christopher Mullen, 30, was named as the victim of gunfire after he was shot around 8:40 a.m. at Line and Nassau streets, according to news reports. The coroner's office stated that he died at MUSC from gunshot wounds.
For the past 15 years, Susan has been employed by Villamare Health Club as a health club attendant. She is a hardworking and dedicated worker. Susan has been a help to all of the owners at Villamare in many ways and I hope you find it in your heart to help her during this difficult time. Villamare Owners love and appreciate everything that Susan has done to help us.
She will have many funeral expenses and will also need help in providing for her grandson.
We would like to offer those who wish to participate to whatever extent they wish. Your generous donation will help her get through this time while she in on leave and as she grieves. Thank you for your consideration.
