Mulder’s Surgery

My cat Mulder just had surgery for an intestinal blockage. He couldn’t eat or drink anything and was beginning to fail. Without the surgery he would have died. I took him to two vets, for an X Ray, and ultrasound and then surgery, and he spent two nights in the hospital. He had to have three incisions in his small intestines and one in his stomach to remove the mass. He is now home recovering for two weeks in a crate with a cone.

In total I spent about $6000 in medical costs to save his life. I had to extend a second credit card in order to pay for all of this, that I had to open last year when he went into kidney failure. I had about $1500 left to pay off from that on the card.

So anything helps.

I love him so much, as soon as I had him in my arms I knew I made the right decision, I had to save him.
