The Manchester United Fans of Los Angeles , an official branch of the Manchester United USA Supporters Club, is proud to stand in solidarity with our beloved Mancunian brothers and sisters by putting together this campaign to raise money for the families of those impacted by the bombing on the 23rd of May, 2017 at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, UK.

Our goal is to deliver a minimum of £1,000 GBP to the Manchester Emergency Fund managed by the British Red Cross, which is working directly with the victims, and the families, of this abhorrent attack. Proof of donation will be made available on this page after the campaign is over.

In order to do this, we have set our funding goal at $1,500 USD in order to account for currency conversion rates, credit card processing fees, and GoFundMe charges in order to manage this campaign to ensure full transparency for every cent you pledge.

Los Angeles and Manchester have been official Friendship Cities since 2009. Let's show them how friends come together at a time of need.

What is your relationship or connection to the city of Manchester and the victims of the bombing?

Our group is a community of supporters of the greatest footbal club in the world, Manchester United. Many of us have friends and family in Manchester and we feel a connection to the city. Most of the donations for this cause are coming from group members.

How will the funds be spent?

100% of all the funds made available to us from GoFundMe will be forwaded to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund that is run by the British Red Cross. This donation will be made in the name of the Manchester United Fans of Los Angeles.

Who is handling the funds?

Wil Cuadros, one of our original group members, has personally spearheaded this project. He will be personally withdrawing the funds.

How do you plan to get the funds to the British Red Cross? 

Since this is a foreign charity, we are unable to send the money directly to the British Red Cross through GoFundMe's charity program. Therefore, all of the monies will be sent via PayPal through the British Red Cross website. Screenshots of all financial transactions will be posted in the GoFundMe updates for those who donated to see. They will also be posted in the Facebook group chat for all our members to see.
