In January my cornea in my right eye ruptured(a condition known as corneal hydrops) and scar tissue formed distorting my vision permanently. Limiting my ability to work(I am a plumber by trade) in 6 months I took whatever I could to make money, in June my other cornea ruptured legally blinding me. I am 26 years old, a father and husband and until recently the primary income in my household. My wife found a job and is starting a second to supplement my income. Unfortunately this road has led me to needing at least one corneal replacement surgery which while uninsured will cost me $15,000 and insured there isn’t much of a difference. Due to the cost of corneal tissue.I’ve exhausted my savings and sold everything of value am still short in meeting my obligations as a father (a safe home, food, and transportation for my wife and son as well as myself to and from the appointments with my ophthalmologist. )Any help is greatly appreciated. I am far more concerned with my families well being , than the surgery because I know this will get better and I will find a way to overcome this set back
