Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity has already made a massive difference. We have used the funds collected to provide the kids with essentials like learning materials, meals and sanitary pads for the older girls. We were also able to pay rent for Mutegeka’s family, buy them food, and cover the costs for his therapy and his mother’s tuberculosis treatment.

 An Urgent Priority: Support for Gift While we continue to look out for the whole family, we are shifting the majority of our current fundraising efforts toward palliative care for Gift. She is currently battling Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and her situation has become critical. She needs immediate medical attention and comfort care.

 

For Mutegeka’s family and the other children, we have improvised and prioritized resources to ensure they are stable and cared for through February. This allows us to focus our immediate strength on Gift during this urgent time.
