Road to recovery

Hey all! For those of you who don’t know me , my name is Melissa, sister of Roland “Rene” Diaz. So as many of you know our family was hit with Covid pretty hard recently and we all but my Brother Roland made a full recovery. He was rushed to the ER at Seton SW with extreme shortness of breath and oxygen levels that were extremely low. He was put on oxygen full time with the hopes that it would help control things, however his progress began to worsen. Being a smaller hospital Seton SW was not equipped to handle the care my brother needed so he was transferred out after about 5 days to ICU at Seton Main. There the plan was to treat the Covid more aggressively. He ended up developing pneumonia and his oxygen levels were not increasing but getting worse. Anyone who knows my brother at all he is the kind of man who is not a taker but a giver!! A man who has taken care of his family from day one making sure the stress of bills and finances were always taken care of. I questioned creating this but then realized that sometimes we all need help right!! With the Grace of God and many prayers my brother was told he would be released from the hospital soon. As we all know, bills do not stop for life emergencies! For health issues or illness!! He will be coming home but his recovery is no where close to over!! He will be on continuous oxygen and will need some physical therapy! My sister n law Lori will also have to take FMLA to help with his recovery! With No more PTO or short term disability I come to you to just pray on it and especially them in this time of need. If its $5 or $50 anything at this point is greatly appreciated and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
