My name is Michael Paciorek and my wife's name is Ginette. We decided to start a Go Fund Me page not for ourselves but for Ellen Bugbee Gregory as we have been good friends for many years. Ellen, a single mom of 2 children, lives in Agawam, where she is a self-employed owner operator of 911 Expedited Trucking. Her primary income is driving the truck.
In November directly following her results of her first mammogram, Ellen has been out of work which has exhausted her savings and unfortunately she needs help soon. Her doctor’s appointments have been 3 days apart. She had surgery on January 13th, the doctors estimated she will be out of work for at least 3 months for healing followed by radiation and or chemo therapy treatments. The treatments will be given 5 times per week for 6 weeks. So getting back into the truck again is impossible for her. In addition to her treatments, she also needs to follow a diet regiment eating 6 times per day for strength and fighting the remainder of her treatments. This diet regiment consists of peanut butter, wheat crackers, eggs, chicken breast, chunk light tuna, certain fruits and vegetables.
I had the pleasure of working with Ellen for the West Springfield Special Police Department where Ellen was a Sargent.
Ellen enjoys riding her motorcycle especially for fund raising events like toys for tots, and several other fund raisers. Every year, Ellen and her team do the 24 hour Cancer walk in Agawam to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Ellen has high hopes because her Mom is a breast cancer survivor. She is not looking for a fortune, but she is looking for temporarily financial help to get her through the next 3 or so months. Any monetary amount collected and not used will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Ginette and I will be the first to donate and offer our prayers and blessings to Ellen and wish her a speedy recovery. We appreciate every dollar raised to help Ellen in her times of need for survival.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts and if you would like to follow her progress, see Ellen on Facebook.
