As some of you may well know, Mui and family fell ill due to Covid in mid-December. However, Mui continued to fight the long, hard battle and endured many complications for the last two months. Unfortunately, Covid and its complications proved to be a destructive adversary and Mui surrendered to the illness on February 15, 2021. We felt the loss and pain for his wife, Thuy, family and friends.
He was a kind soul, generous person, always smiling and cracking jokes. He was a great loss to this world. He was also a great caretaker. He worked multiple jobs to safeguard a beautiful life for his family. Mui was the main provider. He cared for his wife, mother, father and youngest brother. With his unfortunate passing, the responsibility has fallen upon Thuy.
Dealing with the passing of one loved one is already difficult to handle. In addition to, the last 14 months have been extremely challenging as Thuy has also had to cope with the loss of her mother, father and soul-mate, whom she was married to for now 8 years. The grief she experienced is enough for a lifetime but to have it all condensed in such a short time is almost unbearable. There is some peace knowing that her loving husband is now in heaven taking care of her mother and father. Despite all of this loss and grief, Thuy must make some difficult decisions in the foreseeable future.
Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as she and her family navigates this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards bills and medical expenses, as we hope to carry out all of Mui’s final wishes.
Thank you again for your thoughts, prayers and support of Thuy and family during this time.
