In November 2013, Kerry was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon cancer.  She underwent surgery to remove the tumor and endured the 6 months of chemotherapy and 3 months of maintenance treatments.  Kerry approached the treatments with incredible grace and hope.

The treatments came to an end with much celebration, and the excitement of a much needed break.  Shortly after her last treatment, she learned that she would need to continue chemo for the duration of her life.  

After receiving a second opinion, Kerry learned that she is now dealing with Stage 4 cancer and is facing a more aggressive chemotherapy treatment.  The hope is that this round will do what it needs to do.  She is an amazing fighter!! 

Our hope is to raise enough money to cover the expenses not covered by insurance.  And they are excessive.  The last thing anyone needs when fighting for their lives is to have to worry about how to take care of the impossibly expensive bills.
