Muffin's Freedom Flight
Donation protected
My name is Chelsea, and my husband Chris and I are adopting Muffin through The Big 3 Rescue. Muffin was kept in a small cage outside with other corgis, used for breeding. At only 2, she is still a baby herself. The breeder was looking to sell all 17 of his dogs (a mix of corgis and Pomeranians), as they were no longer producing puppies. This man kept them barely alive on a diet of rice, cabbage, and carrots. The Big 3 Rescue was able to intercept Muffin and the other dogs before they were taken to the slaughterhouse. When she was brought in, she was skinny, tested positive for distemper, and suffered other skin ailments from the years of neglect.
We immediately fell in love with Muffin - her sweet floppy ears and big brown eyes broke our heart. Despite everything she's been through, she has a sweet disposition and loves people and dogs. We have been wanting to add another corgi to our family, and she seemed like a great fit.
Muffin's freedom flight from China will cost $2800 USD. Any money raised beyond this target will be donated to The Big 3 Rescue, where they can use it to help other dogs get their freedom flight. She will be flying from China to Vancouver, and then brought to Seattle where I will pick her up.
Chris and I want to show Muffin what life can be like with people who love her. She will never worry about when she'll get her next meal. She will have access to soft couches, beds, and all the toys she can imagine. Our two current pets live like kings, and we can’t wait to add Muffin to our home. Please consider contributing to her freedom flight - no amount is too small. If you are unable to contribute, please share our link so we can get Muffin home <3
