Much needed upcoming surgery.

Hello friends and family,

(Update/ new note: this has been much more complicated/ expensive than I imagined, partially due to other long-term health issues which have escalated, along with the need for this hysterectomy. I feel for everyone going through similar situations, particularly those doing it solo). The help you have already provided through donations and words of support mean more than you may know. In the future, I hope and intend to help others who are struggling.

I am humbly asking for your help during a particularly challenging time. I am finally having a major surgery which I have been putting off for years, due to fear of the healing process, time away from my clients, etc…and needing to focus on healing for at least a week in October. I’ve been suffering for decades with issues in my uterus (large fibroids, cysts, polyps, heavy bleeding to the point it is debilitating). I had surgery earlier this year but it did nothing to help the issue and I will be having a full hysterectomy.

My OBGYN surgeon is wonderful and I do have insurance. That said, this is a very scary time to be alone with this and to also keep my home/ business afloat while I heal.

I have exhausted my savings and I’m terrified. But this has to be done. I’ve avoided it way to long, have literally bled out too much, for too long. I need to have my body working so that I may continue taking care of my loved ones, clients and animals.

I am reaching out so that I may be able to focus on healing next month.
