Much needed Rescue kennel building!
Hello Hemlock Edge Rescue friends & supporters!
We are excited to announce that we are finally able to build a nice custom foster building for our foster pups to quarantine off transport! We have been dreaming of this for a decade now and we have saved up the funds for the deposit and with your help to raise the rest we will be under Contruction end of MARCH 24'
This is going to be a 20 x 28 building. Inside will be a custom foster space. We will have a section for a puppy room/maternity with access to their own yard. Large & med size kennel space with access to its own yards too!
hopefully There will be extra space to continue to build more kennel/foster spaces once we get underway.
This is going be a cozy peacful temporary kennel house for our pups! This going to be nice pit stop, decompression space and play space on their way into their foster homes then off to their forever homes.
It will be insulated for all seasons of course and will also double to accommodate our transport storage, rescue donations and all things rescue business.
We are starting with a goal of 10k!
I have attached our estimate showing we already gave deposit, and we secured March install.
Outside of the install and cost of just this building there is other prep work to be done, fencing to be installed and we need to remove our 2 current old falling apart sheds, remove a tree, and then level and concrete the foundation. We have not gotten exact quote yet for the prep as we will wait and see closer to install how much we have raised of this 10k so far and how much removal & demo we can do ourselves to cut cost.
I know this building in the cover picture looks fancy but this is just idea base model. or building is much more plain. It will not be 2 tone color and will not have 2 garage doors. It will have 1 garage door and 1 normal entrance door. It will have 2 windows for ventilation and lots of shelving inside for storage and organization. It will be inspected once its built by our County Warden under out kennel license to make sure we are all up to code for our pups!

This is the last piece to create the Hemlock dream homestead for our fosters while they await their next steps!
