Much Ado About Nothing is a Shakespearean comedy set in Messina, Italy and centering around the Governor’s Villa at the end of the country’s civil war. This production is set in a time near our own; where opulence is saved only for the highest class, and those who have been blessed accordingly are unaware of it. They are all the stars of a reality TV show. The residents of the Villa have survived the war with their friends alive and fortune intact, what’s better to do than to document just how spotless their favor is? There’s never been a better time, because the party's just beginning. Young soldiers, straight from the battlefield, are thrust into Messina where life is so good even petty crime is few and far between, to the point of not even needing a proper police chief. But when one has everything they could need and more, problems must be made; especially when the camera is on them. Not to mention, they are also mingling with the bastard brother of Messina’s prince, who fought on the other side of the battle. Can forgiveness find its way into the Villa? Can its members keep a calm head, even with the cameras on them? If they do, will we have a good show?
