Our friend Mike Fernandes better known as “Taco” has been fighting through one setback after another this year. What started out as a simple toe issue turned into multiple surgeries, a fractured hip and below the knee amputation.

He’s been in and out of the hospital and rehab since April, mostly alone, unable to work and trying to keep his spirits up.

He has always been the kind of guy who pushes through, but this has been more than one person can carry alone right now. He’s in a tough spot, waiting on disability approval and not yet able to return to work.

Funds raised will help cover any expenses he may have until he can get approved for disability or return to work. He is currently still in rehab awaiting his prosthetic.
