Support Elizabeth's Battle Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Stacie Heitkemper. This is Elizabeth Bruce, my sister-in-law. She is a mother of two beautiful daughters, a wife, an avid gardener, and one heck of a human being all together. Last year she was given a diagnosis of breast cancer, one that a lot of us lady’s dread. She immediately put a plan together with her doctors and family members, received a double mastectomy as soon as possible and started chemo treatments. Elizabeth is a FIRM believer in God, an active member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon, Indiana, and being such, she knows that he will bring her through this chapter in her life.

With all that being said, Elizabeth has extinguished all avenues to get assistance with her medical bills, so we are now reaching out to the community. We all know that this is a TOUGH road for her, and her family, and we also know that this world is hurting financially in so many ways. But, if you feel compelled to give, please know that every single dollar will go towards the medical bills for the surgeries, chemo and radiation (if required).

Do not forget that there are many other ways to give, such as your time or talents. With Elizabeth getting treatments comes weakness, inability to work some days, drive or even cook. If there are other ways you feel compelled to assist this family, please reach out and let me know.
