We are raising funds to support Luis, who has sadly sustained a traumatic brain injury after a recent accident which has left him in the ICU in Australia.

Luis is currently in Australia on a visa, and with his family overseas in Colombia, he is facing this incredibly difficult time far from home.

While he has the love and support of his partner and her family, the road ahead includes significant medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and other essential living needs during his recovery. All funds will be given to the beneficiary Hajnal, his life partner, to arrange his family to see him and help her transition into the next phase of her life without the financial burden.

We are asking for help from our community—any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in easing the financial burden and ensuring Luis receives the care he needs.

Hola a todos, En este momento estamos buscando ayuda para poder apoyar a nuestro querido Luis. Él es un estudiante internacional que como todos nosotros vino con un sueño hace 6 años. Lastimosamente el 21 de Noviembre Luis sufrió un trauma cerebral severo. Esta lesión lo tiene en estos momentos en la unidad de cuidados intensivos en el Royal Melbourne hospital en Australia. En estos momentos su familia está en Colombia y a pesar de que esta rodeado de mucho amor y apoyo por parte de su pareja, familia y amigos que ha tenido durante su tiempo aquí en Australia, su futuro es aún incierto, debido al accidente que sufrió y deberá permanecer en la unidad de cuidados intensivos. Seguramente deberá someterse a cirugías, terapias y otros gastos que incrementarán con el tiempo. Es por esto que estamos pidiendo la ayuda de nuestra comunidad, la verdad es que cualquier tipo de donación, ya sea grande o pequeña va ser de gran ayuda y puede hacer una gran diferencia en la vida de nuestro querido Luis y aliviar la presión financiera de su pareja y familia en estos momentos tan difíciles por las cuales estamos atravesando.
