Nick's Recovery

Hi, my name is McKenzie, and my friends and I have started this fundraiser for our dear friend Nick Epps.

Nick was hit by car on December 28th while taking the trash out. The driver was out of control around the corner and may have been distracted. Nick was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance to discover he broke his femur in three parts. He went into surgery the following day to insert screws and a metal rod. We are all so thankful that it was just his femur and surgery went well. He is now home being taken care of by his wife, Mariah Epps.

Mariah is a teacher and will take some time off to take care of Nick until he can start caring for himself again. Nick, who works in the catering business, will unfortunately be unable to get back to work for quite awhile. We are hoping that this fundraiser can cover some of their bills, groceries, and make up for lost wages.

If you have any money to spare, anything helps. This has been a very hard start to the New Year for the Epps.
