Funeral and Celebration of Life for Karl

I'm at a loss here but not nearly as much as Karl's brother and family.

When each of us heard the news, disbelief was the first reaction followed by intense grief. A grief that has left many of us numb.

I am creating this fundraiser for Karl's brother, Mike. Just a short year ago, Karl and Mike said their final goodbye the their mom. Now, Mike faces this daunting task again, planning the funeral for his brother.

I talked to Mike this morning and to hear the shock in his voice was gut wrenching. To hear him wonder how to properly say goodbye broke my heart. ( A feeling I know too well)

Funerals are costly. I put a high number on this fundraiser because I'd like Mike and the rest of Karl's family to not worry how but to rather concentrate on remembering. Money won't bring this gentle soul back to us but it can help ease the burden.

We are all heartbroken.
