My son-in-law was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital in order to receive antibiotics for a spinal infection. My daughter stays home with their 11-month-old baby, and her husband only gets paid when he is at work. He has no paid time off or health insurance. They are in desperate need for financial support to allow them to purchase food and pay utilities right now. They will also have some significant medical bills once he is discharged.
