MTS Brother Henry "Kikki" Franco Memorial Fund
Donation protected
It is with deep sorrow and regret that we announce the tragic and sudden passing of Brother Henry "Kikki" Franco, an IBEW 465 Apprentice Mechanic at San Diego Metropolitan Transit System. Brother Franco was swimming at La Jolla Shores when he suffered cardiac arrest; divers rescued him but his heart stopped as they reached the shore. Henry was a 6 year IBEW 465 member who was extremely hard working and excited to be learning a new trade as a Journeyman Mechanic.
Henry had just turned 40 years old on November 22nd and leaves behind his wife Lorie. He was loved by everyone at MTS and in the IBEW and was a leader on the shop floor always looking out for his brothers and sisters. Brother Henry comes from an entire family of MTS tradesmen and IBEW 465 members. His father-in-law, John Leon worked at MTS for over 40 years and his cousin Andrew Guerrero works currently as a Journeyman Mechanic-C at MTS and has worked there for over 28 years and is a Shop Steward. Their entire family, the MTS family, and our IBEW family are all devastated by this tragic loss and hope that we can raise some money for his wife in their time of need. With funeral expenses, the loss of income, and unimaginable impacts on his family we hope to help be there for this IBEW family in their time of need.
Please donate if you can. Please share if you can. Please help us be there for our Brother's family.
