MTNA Chamber Music Competition

Let me start off by saying how blessed I am to be studying at the University of Central Florida, and how lucky I am to make music with these three amazing colleagues and to have all my friends and family support me along this way. It is with great honor and pleasure to announce that my Saxophone Quartet won the chamber winds division for the southern region of the Music Teachers National Association Competition. Now the next phase is the final national round held in Spokane, Washington where we will be competing against the most renowned music schools from universities across the nation. Not only is this a great opportunity for me and my colleagues, but it is also for our department here at UCF, being that this is one of its first nationally recognized achievements  for our school music. We would love your support and any type of donation big or small would go a long way ensuring that we get the opportunity to perform and get back home safely. Ideally, we would like to have all funds by March 1 so that can make arrangements. Again we cant thank you enough and we are truly grateful and humbled by this experience.  Go Knights!
