Hi,

My name is Pinar. I am fundraising for my dog named Cooper. He is a 5-year-old Shitzu who has been suffering from calcium oxalate bladder stones. He's had a total of 4 surgeries (cystotomies) within the last couple of years. Unfortunately, due to his genetics, he is prone to form these stones, and the type of stones he has are not curable with medication or diet.

His most recent comprehensive exam showed he currently has over 30 stones in his bladder (see attached photos). At this point, due to his previous four surgeries, our only option for him is to have a Scrotal Urethrostomy surgery. This surgery aims to widen the urethral opening to allow the passage of stones. The goal of this surgery is to get him relief from undergoing continuous surgeries and give him a chance at a healthy and happy life. Unfortunately, his surgery will cost $6000 as his insurance does not cover it.

Cooper is one of the sweetest dogs that I have known. He is very loving, gentle, and friendly. Over the last five years, he has been through a lot, and he is my world. Please help me raise the money to cover the surgery cost and get Cooper the help he needs. I have attached some photos from his previous surgeries.
