I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dear sister Amanda and boyfriend, who has just experienced an unimaginable loss. They recently lost their home in a devastating house fire. In a matter of moments.

Most heartbreaking of all, two of their beloved dogs were rushed to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Lexi remains hospitalized and will need to stay until at least Saturday, while Willow is still being closely monitored. Amanda’s dogs are her entire world, and seeing them fight through this has been incredibly hard. The vet bills alone have already reached roughly $3,000 and continue to grow.

Amanda is a local dog groomer at Mountain Top Grooming, someone who spends her days caring for and loving other people’s pets as if they were her own. She has the kindest heart and would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She truly does not deserve this tragedy.
