Farm to Food Bank needs your help in providing area food bank clients with healthy food while supporting and investing in the local food economy in Southwest Montana!
The program, run in partnership with the Bozeman Community Food Co-op, is a win-win for communities by providing area families with local foods and a dependable revenue stream for our farmers. Last year, over 7,000 pounds of locally grown vegetables, legumes, and grains were purchased from Montana farmers and distributed through the Livingston Food Pantry and Gallatin Valley Food Bank.
Historically, customer donations through the Co-op and small grants have helped fund the program. Now, in an effort to supply more families with local food, we are pursuing additional funding sources.
