Life has taken a challenging turn for me recently. After leaving my job because I was unable to work, I found myself hospitalized for three days. This wasn’t my first experience in the hospital, but it had been about a year since my last stay.
Since February 10, I have been seeking medical help for diverticulitis and liver disease, both of which were discovered during a CT scan. Unfortunately, I missed my son's birthday due to visitation restrictions while I was recovering. Financially, things were already tight, and I still have more tests that need to be done.
During my hospital stay, I fainted several times because of the pain I was enduring. The medical issues that prevent me from working full-time require costly tests, and I believe that financial support would be a significant step toward helping me regain my footing.
I am also a part-time student studying Art History, with hopes of working in museums to create art programs for children. On top of my struggles, my wife has been dealing with an infection in her jaw, which now requires gum reduction surgery. While she has overcome the infection, the surgery is necessary to prevent future flare-ups, and unfortunately, it isn’t covered by our insurance.
Some of my medical expenses were covered, but only after meeting our $3,000 deductible. My wife’s costs are around $1,250, which is why we are reaching out for support to help us move forward.
Help me and my wife stay healthy to raise our family.
