Early Monday morning the unexpectant happened. Our dear friend, David Wallace fell ill and died while at home with his wife. David was known by many as a caring, kind, gentle, hard working and best person at performing chest compressions. David Wallace was a man that we all knew as a helper, a friend, and someone who did his part to help in saving so many lives. There was hardly ever a time when one would see him without a cup of coffee in hand, and his pager going off. He would pick up the phone, dial whomever, ask what they needed, and always be there to deliver. He had such a great spirit to be around. He was calm, patient, and he just knew what he was doing. When David was there, we felt comfort. Knowing that he had the ability, and talent to do his part in saving a life the way that very few people can do. I know that David cared for, and supported his family at home as well. My prayer and hope is that we can all band together to help his family out financially during this very difficult time. The last thing a family should have to worry about when grieving is the financial struggle that can come with losing a loved one. Please give what you can do to honor David by remembering him as a great man, and showing his family how wonderful we all thought that he was. No financial contribution is too big or small and everything helps.
Feel free to leave a message on what David meant to you. These comments will be copied and placed in a book to be presented to his wife along with the monies we collect at a later date.
God Bless you.
