On behalf of our entire family, we are writing to you to thank you for your love, support, and prayers over the past few days. As many of you know, my brother Quinn was in a tragic accident on Friday evening, September 26th while cutting down a tree.  Quinn was taken by Medi-flight to Memorial Hospital where he is receiving great care. His first of many surgeries was on Sunday. Quinn will have quite a lengthy and difficult road to recovery ahead of him.

 

Quinn is the first person to help a friend in need and that is just one of his great qualities that makes him who he is. We are so proud of him.

 

We have received many requests from our friends and family as to how everyone can help Quinn and my family in this difficult time. With much unknown, the doctors have said he will require many surgeries and extended therapy on this journey of healing. Food, lodging, and additional costs for treatment and care will quickly mount up for Quinn and my parents.  We are a proud family who believes in the value and importance of hard work; thus, we are reluctant to ask for help, yet we are prompted by the support we have received requesting “how can we help?”. We want to help Quinn where we can and believe that in addition to the prayers, financial assistance would also be helpful as he faces this challenge. Again, this is very hard for my family as they have always been on the giving end of the community when the need arises. We are deeply grateful for your prayers, love, support, kindness, and compassion during this challenging event in Quinn’s young life.
